Madison Central and Madison Southern will face very familiar opponents in the opening round of the 11th Region Tournament.
The Indians are set to face No. 19 Scott County at 4 p.m. Sunday at Don Richardson Field.
The Eagles will take on Franklin County at 6 p.m. Sunday in Frankfort.
The winners advance to the semifinals, which are scheduled for Monday (1 p.m. and 4 p.m.) at Scott County.
The championship game is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday in Georgetown.
The other first-round match-ups feature Western Hills at Tates Creek (4 p.m. Sunday) and Lafayette at Henry Clay (4 p.m. Sunday).
Southern (15-14) and Franklin County have already met twice this season, with each team winning at home.
The Eagles defeated the Flyers (19-13) on April 12 in Berea, 8-4.
Franklin County beat Southern, 6-5, in nine innings on May 16 in Frankfort.
The Eagles started off the season by losing their first five games, but then won seven-straight. Southern earned a trip to the 11th Region Tournament by beating Berea, 7-6, in the semifinals of the 44th District Tournament last weekend.
No. 6 Madison Central (26-9) and Scott County (23-11) have played twice in the past 12 months.
The teams met in the championship game of last year's 11th Region Tournament, where the Indians held on for a 8-6 win.
On May 1 in Georgetown, Central blasted the Cardinals, 10-0.
Scott County won nine-straight games after that loss to the Indians before falling to Henry Clay, 9-6, in the title game of the 42nd District Tournament on Monday.
The Indians wrapped up their 12th 44th District title in the past 13 years with a 7-3 win over Madison Southern on Monday in Berea.
