The Colonels (2-1) already have wins against a pair of mid-major schools.

And they return to McBrayer Arena today looking to already eclipse their win total from last season.

EKU is set to take on Miami University (Ohio). Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Colonels opened the season with a win at home over Northern Kentucky, 69-62, and a victory on the road over Memphis, 63-60.

EKU couldn't overcome a rough first half last Sunday against Butler in Indianapolis.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 14-2 lead and were up 33-9 at halftime.

Butler moved to 3-0 with 73-41 win.

Samari Mowbray led the way offensively for the Colonels posting a career-best 15 points.

De'Ayra Davis also posted a career-best with 12 points against Butler on Sunday.

The Colonels have seven players averaging five or more points on the year.

I'Liyah Green leads the way on the glass for the Colonels with her team-best 8.3 rebounds per game on the year.

EKU leads the all-time series with Miami, 11-6.

The RedHawks won last season in Oxford, Ohio, 60-44.

The first meeting between the two teams was in 1972-73.

Miami has a 2-1 record after defeating South Alabama, 76-73, on Friday.

The RedHawks have three players averaging double-digit points on the year.

Lauren Dickerson led the way for Miami (OH) against USA posting a team-best 21 points in the comeback win.

Freshman Peyton Scott has made an immediate impact for the RedHawks averaging 14.7 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Miami used a 46-point second half to complete the 13-point comeback over South Alabama on Friday.

The Bulldogs are averaging 73.3 points per game on the year.

EKU hits the road this weekend when the Colonels take on Mercer University on Sunday.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Macon, Ga.
