All three summer leagues at Galaxy Bowling Center are well into their seasons.

Mike Mitchell rolled the top game and series of the week during Monday’s Summer Cash League. He had a great night of bowling, as he just missed a perfect game to finish at 290 and almost hit the 800 series milestone with a 793.

Beginning Wednesday ,June 5, Galaxy Bowling Center will begin a sport shot weekly competition. A variety of difficult sport patterns will be put down over the course of 12 weeks for bowlers to challenge their skills on. This event will be open to anyone who wishes to participate, and money will be paid weekly to the top bowlers.

After 35 weeks of competition, Berry Patch (Dave McCracken, Richard Rogers and Johnny L. They ended up finishing with a seven and a half point lead over the second-place team Custom Designs (JR Martin, Aaron Rose, Daniel Benge and Shawn Barton).

One and a half points behind Customs Designs to claim third place for the season was Team 12 (Jennings Krahenbuhl, George Watkins and Cristopher Krahenbuhl).

The highest scratch team game for the season of 791 rolled by the BILFS (Dustin Mills, Ryan Carnes, Tony Felts and Ryan Felts). Berry Patch bowled the highest scratch series at 2,200.

As a correction to last week’s column, I listed Corbin Roberts as the high average for this league, when in fact it was Johnny L. Johnson with the top average for the season with his 235 average.
