The Madison Central wrestling team had three of its wrestlers move into the semifinal round of the Region 7 Tournament Friday at Tates Creek High School.

Connor Caskey, the No. 3 seed, used a last-second, come-from-behind win over Lafayette to move into the next round.

Jerome Williams upset Lafayette’s No. 3 seed with a 12-2 score to move on and Ryan Mosher took care of his Henry Clay opponent to do the same.

The rest of the Indians’ roster is participating in the consolation rounds.

The top four place winners in each weight division advance to the state championships, which will be held next weekend in Frankfort.
