The Patriots kept their 12-game unbeaten streak alive with a 2-2 tie Thursday at home against Bryan Station.
Hunter Conner scored his 19th goal of the season for the Patriots.
Mike Hughes added a goal for Model and Robert Albaugh and John Reisig had assists.
Model (10-1-3) plays at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Corbin.
Berea 3, Pulaski County 1
Major McGraw scored a pair of goals, his 14th and 15th of the season, and Berea picked up a road win Thursday, beating Pulaski County 3-1.
Berea (6-5-1) got on top early when McGraw scored on a breakaway to make it 1-0.
The Pirates made it 2-0 at halftime after McGraw crossed to Ben Lark on a timing route down the middle for a quick goal.
Pulaski County cut the lead to 2-1 on a penalty kick before McGraw scored on another breakaway off a pass from Chris Kidd, to make it 3-1.
“It was a good effort from our guys,” Berea coach Casey Poynter said. “I was proud of them. They had a lot of intensity and we played really well defensively.”
Berea returns to district play Saturday at 4 p.m. at home against Estill County.
Madison Central 3, Calrk County 0
Madison Central (8-6) earned a road victory Thursday, beating George Rogers Clark 3-0.
The Indians scored all their goals in the first half.
Chris Lewis opened the scoring in the seventh minute.
Rafael Garcia added a goal in the 12th minute and Daniel Parke picked up a score in the final minutes of the first half.
While the offense was putting on a display, the defense was just as good, earning the shutout.
“We put a complete game together tonight,” Madison Central coach Jeremy Anderson said. “From the get-go we dictated the pace of the game, kept the ball and had a lot of opportunities to finish. Overall I’m most impressed that the defense held them without a shot until the final five seconds.”
The Indians play today at 8 p.m. at home against Lafayette.
