The Madison Southern volleyball team completed a regular-season sweep of district rival Model on Wednesday in Berea.

The Lady Eagles (11-2) rolled to a 3-0 win over the Lady Patriots (0-13).

Southern won by scores of 25-5, 25-9 and 25-10.

Julia Bingham had seven kills, three aces and three digs for the Lady Eagles, who pushed their winning streak to four matches.

Avery St. John had seven aces, two kills and a dig. Kyla Atkins had six aces, four kills, 12 assists and a block. Reece Estep had four aces, three digs and a kill.

Autumn Griffith had 11 digs and two aces. Kara Combs had seven assists, three digs and a kill. Emma Haselwood had two kills and two digs.

Macie Daniels had a kill, two digs, an ace and a block. Chole Osborn had one kill, one ace and three digs. Breanna Dawes and Emily Young had four digs each.

Kennedy Johnson had an ace and two digs, while Ally Skidmore had two digs.

Violet Fox had four digs, an assist and a kill for Model.

Liz Dickerson had two assists and a dig. Leah Smith had three digs and a block. Rachel McClurg and Megan Perkins had two digs each.

Haley Hollis had a block and a dig. Taylor LeCompte had two kills and a block.

Southern is set to return to action today on the road against district rival Madison Central.

Model has completed the regular season. The Lady Patriots will return to action later this month in the district tournament.
