The Madison Central boys soccer team wrapped up the regular season with another impressive performance.

The Indians (10-5-4) earned a 2-0 victory over 11th Region rival Franklin County on Thursday night in Richmond.

Central has won four-straight games.

The Indians are also undefeated in their past eight games — and have allowed three goals in that span.

Senior Trent Fornash gave Central the lead against Franklin County with 10:37 left before halftime. He ripped a shot out of the air with his right foot after a corner by Bradley Ball.

In the second half, Jose Bartolo scored on an assist from Gavin O'Shea.

Senior keeper Daniel Jordan record the shutout in goal.

Central is set to return to action Tuesday against Model in the opening round of the 44th District Tournament at Madison Southern.

Lady Patriots fall at Corbin

The Model Laboratory girls soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 2-1 loss on Thursday at Corbin.

The game was scoreless at halftime.

Becky Otieno scored off a corner by Anniston Bray.

McKenna Tuttle and Lilly Halcomb split time in the net for Model.

The Lady Patriots (9-10) are set to return to action Tuesday against Madison Central in the first round of the 44th District Tournament at Madison Southern.
