The Madison Central boys soccer team used a strong second half to rally for a win Tuesday at home.

The Indians (7-5-4) trailed 1-0 at the half, but battled back for a 2-1 win over Boyle County.

The victory extended Central's unbeaten streak to five games.

Sam Hughes scored on a rebound to tie the game. Gavin O'Shea put the Indians in front with a goal off a pass from Josh Dluhos moments later.

Senior keeper Daniel Jordan made the lead hold up.

The Indians have lost just once in their past eight games. They have also allowed just three goals in the past six games, including three shutouts.

Central is set to return to action today on the road against 44th District rival Berea Community.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.

Lady Pirates fall to Lincoln County, 3-1

The Berea Community girls soccer team was handed a 3-1 loss Tuesday at home by Lincoln County.

The third-straight setback dropped the Lady Pirates' record to 3-11 on the season.

Berea is set to return to action Saturday at Southwestern.
