The Madison Central boys soccer snapped a three-game winless streak with a win Tuesday in Irvine.

Gavin O'Shea scored three times as the Indians rolled to a 5-1 victory over Estill County.

Central (2-3-2) had not won since Aug. 22. The Indians had also not scored more than two goals in any game this season.

Central scored twice in the first half against the Engineers.

O'Shea scored off a free kick and Josh Dluhos also found the net to give the Indians a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Estill County got within a goal, but O'Shea scored on a penalty kick, then added another score minutes later.

Hunter Martin scored off an assist from Dluhos in the second half.

Central is set to return to action Thursday at home against Madison Southern.

Lady Patriots top Pendleton County, 3-0

The Model Laboratory girls soccer team snapped a two-game losing streak with a win Tuesday in Falmouth.

The Lady Patriots (6-4) scored twice in the first half and picked up a 3-0 win over Pendleton County.

Analyce Valencia scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season just eight minutes into the game on an assist from Anniston Bray.

Payton Sparks found the net just before halftime.

Jenna Wells scored her first goal of the season in the second half.

McKenna Tuttle made eight saves to record her second shutout.

Model is set to return to action Thursday against Lexington Christian Academy in the 11th Region All "A" Classic in Berea.
