The Lady Patriots (10-2) pushed their winning streak to seven games with a dominant performance Saturday on the road.
Model Laboratory jumped out to a 20-8 first-quarter lead and had five players reach double figures in as scoring as they rolled to a 63-44 victory at Henry County.
McKenna Tuttle had 13 points, six rebounds and five assists. Kenzie Ferguson had 13 points, Keaton Hall had 12 points and four assists. Taylor Lecompte had 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Summer Ray added 11 points.
Model was up 42-24 at halftime and led by as much as 30 points in the second half.
The Lady Patriots were 25-of-54 from the field, including 4-of-12 from three-point range, and hit 9-of-18 free throws.
Mckenzie Johnson had four rebounds. Avery Tuttle had two points and Presley Lochmueller had one point.
Model is set to return to action Monday at Burgin.
Central snaps skid
The Lady Indians (5-7) used a strong second-half performance to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday in Richmond.
Madison Central had a six-point lead at halftime and pulled away for a 49-30 win over Frederick Douglass. Taleya Todd had 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, while Jekauri McKeithen had a double-double - 14 points, 10 rebounds.
Central trailed 7-3 early and was down 10-9 after the first quarter The Lady Indians out-scored the Lady Broncos 11-4 in the second quarter to take the lead for good.
Central out-rebounded Douglass, 40-29, while both teams had 18 turnovers.
The Lady Indians were 7-of-17 from the free throw line and shot 42.6 percent from the field.
Douglass shot 26.1 percent, including 1-of-9 from three-point range, and was 4-of-13 from the free throw line.
Gretchen Hammitt had four points and seven rebounds. Brianna Bierbaum had four points. Eve Carter had two points, six rebounds and five assists, while Karlee Clines added two points.
Central is set to return to action Monday at home against Knox Central.
Southern wins in Frankfort
Samantha Cornelison led the way as the Lady Eagles (7-5) picked up a win Saturday at the Centria Metals/Penn Station Shootout at Franklin County High School.
The junior guard had 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 54-46 victory over Cooper.
Macie Daniels had 13 points and three rebounds. Skylar Sparks had nine points and two rebounds. Morgan Flannery had six points and five rebounds. Sunni Walters had three points and two rebounds, while Aleigh Richardson had two points and three rebounds.
Southern is set to return to action Monday at home against Bryan Station.
Lady Pirates fall in Paintsville
The Lady Pirates shot just 20 percent from the field and had 17 turnovers in a 54-26 loss to Johnson Central on Saturday at the City Between the Lakes Shootout in Paintsville.
Madison Howell had nine points to lead Berea (6-6), which has lost three of its past four games.
Abigail Beard had six points and four rebounds. Isis Rogers had five points. Sophie Brewer had three points. Mackenzie Howell had two points and five rebounds, while Raegan Stepp had one point.
Berea was 9-of-45 from the field, 3-of-16 from three-point range, and hit 5-of-10 free throws.
The Lady Pirates are set to return to action Monday at Washington County.
