The Lady Patriots pushed their winning streak to eight games with another dominant performance Monday on the road.

Four players reached double-figures as Model (11-2) ran out to a big early lead and blasted Burgin, 64-38.

McKenna Tuttle had 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Keaton Hall also had 13 points.

Taylor Lecompte had a double-double -- 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kenzie Ferguson had 11 points and three steals.

Model was up 22-9 after the first quarter and took a 41-13 lead into halftime.

The Lady Patriots were just 1-of-13 from three-point range and 5-of-7 from the line, but shot 60 percent overall from the field (29-of-48).

Kenzie Ferguson had six points. Presley Lochmueller had four points. Summer Ray had two points and three steals.

Avery Tuttle had two points and six rebounds and Megan Perkins had two points.

Model is set to return to action today at home against Sayre. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

Lady Pirates top Washington County

The Lady Pirates used a big late push to pick up a win Monday on the road.

Berea Community (7-6) out-scored Washington County 17-1 in the fourth quarter of a 47-30 victory in Springfield.

Alexis Newman had 18 points, including two three-pointers.

Maddy King, Chesney Lovins and McKenzie Howell (five rebounds) each had six points. Emily Maynard had four points, while Madison Howell had four points and nine rebounds.

Sophie Brewer had two points and Abigail Beard had one point.

Berea was 2-of-10 from three-point range and 15-of-22 at the free throw line.

Washington County had 22 turnovers.

Lovins had three steals and four rebounds.

The Lady Pirates are set to return to action Friday at home against cross-town rival Madison Southern.
