Another week, another schedule change for the Pirates.
Berea Community (0-7) will wrap up the regular-season at home on Friday against Paris (1-5).
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Pirates were originally scheduled to play Jackson County, but the annual rivalry game was canceled after the Rebels shut down their program because of COVID-19 related issues.
On Oct. 2, Berea picked up a game with Adair County after being unable to travel to Caverna. On Oct. 23, a district showdown with Frankfort had to be postponed because of lightning.
The Pirates have struggled, especially on offense recently.
Berea Community has been shutout in three of the past four games, including a 44-0 loss last week at Frankfort.
The Pirates had just 12 yards of total offense (17 rushing, -5 passing) on a rain-soaked field. Jaiden Cunningham had 18 yards rushing on nine attempts, while quarterback Jayson Coburn threw four interceptions.
Berea has scored just 58 points this season, the third-fewest by any Class A team in the state.
The Pirates will face Kentucky Country Day (6-1) next week in the first round of the playoffs.
Paris carries a three-game losing streak into the regular-season finale.
The Greyhounds fell at home last week to Nicholas County, 27-20. Their only win of the season came on Oct. 2 against Bracken County, 20-8.
Quarterback Chase Puckett has completed 57-of-111 passes on the season for 721 yards with six touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Running back Zion Jackson has 374 rushing on 82 carries with one TD.
Jackson (16 catches, 2 TDs), Gabriel Arnett (11 catches, 1 TD), MarQeis Catlett (16 catches, 1 TD) and Jakari Ramsom (10 catches, 3 TDs) each have more than 100 yard receiving this season.
Berea and Paris last meet in 2018. The Greyhounds won 51-8 in Berea.
