Berea Community is one of just three remaining undefeated Class A teams in Kentucky through the first six weeks of the season.
The Pirates, however, will face a tough test this weekend on the road.
Berea is set to take on Dayton today in Northern Kentucky.
Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
The Pirates and Green Devils both bring long winning streaks into the non-district match-up.
Berea has won six-straight games and Dayton has won its past four games.
The Pirates picked up a 37-21 win over Sayre last weekend on Homecoming. Sophomore Jaiden Cunningham had 198 yards rushing and three touchdowns, while Jaylen Whitaker and Timmy Thompson each had a rushing touchdown for Berea.
On the season, Cunningham has a team-best seven rushing touchdowns and 487 yards on the ground.
Whitaker has completed 35-of-53 passes for three touchdowns and 419 yards with six interceptions.
The Pirates have 1,158 yards through five games (one of which was a forfeit).
The Green Devils dropped their season opener to Bishop Brossart, but haven't lost since.
Dayton rolled to wins over Bellevue (36-12) and Gallatin County (49-14), before picking up an 18-14 win over Pendleton County.
Last week, the Green Devils beat Bracken County, 41-14.
Dayton also has a very efficient ground attack. The Green Devils have almost 1,100 yards rushing this season, led by Jordan Marksberry (585 yards, six TDs) and James Matthews (246 yards, three TDs).
Marksberry also has a team-best 242 receiving yards and two touchdown catches.
Quarterback Nolan Brooks has completed 11-of-24 passes on the season for 233 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions.
Berea is set to open district play next week with a match-up against undefeated Kentucky Country Day at home.
