The Madison Central boys golf team put together a dominant performance on Monday at the Ashland High School Invitational.
The Indians shot a 306 and won by 19 shots over Greenup County.
The event was held at Bellefonte Country Club.
Gavin McKune shot a 73 and tied for second place in the individual standings.
Cooper Eberle shot a 76, Warren Thomis fired a 78, Clay Pendergrass had a 79 and Blake McGinn finished with an 84.
Playing as an individual, Bryce Snapp shot an 87.
Central is set to return to action today at the Mercer County Invitational in Danville.
Model, Central, Southern golfers compete in Jackson County Invitational
Golfers from Model Laboratory, Madison Central, Madison Southern competed in the Jackson County Invitational on Monday at Battlefield Golf Course in Richmond.
The Patriots led the way for the Madison County teams.
Model finished with a team score of 342.
Nate Feese led the way with an 82.
Caleb Ballard had an 84, Mason Hamrick shot an 86, Jake Hajjar fired a 90 and Thomas Luxon finished with a score of 96.
Clifton Scully turned in the best performance by a Madison County golfer.
The eighth-grader from Madison Southern shot a round of 76.
Southern had a team score of 356.
Sam Bingham had an 83, Chris Curry shot a 93, Jonah Wooten fired a 104 and Jace Hays finished with a 115.
Madison Central had a total score of 368.
Jacob Aldridge had a team-low score of 88. Eli Stuart shot an 90, Aiden Howard had a 92, Radney Barnes shot a 98 and Reece Keeton fired a 107.
The Model boys golf team is set to return to action today at the Flyer Classic in Franklin County.
