The Madison Central pitching staff was once again dominant on Monday against Eastern High School in Louisville.
Jeremy Lakes and Kameron Presnell combined to pitch a shutout as the Indians (4-0) stayed unbeaten on the season with a 6-0 road victory.
Lakes went six innings and allowed three hits and one walk with two strikeouts. Presnell pitched one inning and allowed one walk and had a strikeout.
Central has allowed just four runs this season and has three shutouts. The Indians have out-scored their opponents 30-4 so far this season.
Central got three runs in the second inning and three more runs in the sixth inning.
Josh Wright had two hits and two RBI. Corey Mullins had a pair of hits. Ben Morin had a hit, a walk, scored a run and had two RBI. Griffin Hotchkiss scored a run. Hunter Kabalen walked three times, had a hit, scored a run and had an RBI. Nick Kavanaugh had a RBI, Seth Richardson scored a run and Jacob Frazier had a hit and scored a run.
Central is set to return to action today at Estill County.
