Local bowlers came out this past Sunday to compete in the Madison County Bowling Association's Senior Tournament.

Men and Women competed in separate divisions trying to achieve the highest handicapped three-game score.

Jim Anderson finished the day with a 703 series to win for the men, while Fred Tilsley was close behind him at 700.

For the women, it was Novel Davis who rolled the top series with her 683, but Lois Evans was right on her heels, finishing with 681.

Other bowling accolades from last week go to Corbin Roberts. During Monday's Galaxy Classic League, he rolled a 288 game and 778 series. These scores were the top scores bowled last week at Galaxy.

Three fall leagues are easing into their second week of action, and the top scores from week one are highlighted later in this article. Two more leagues began this week and will be added to the column next week.

Additional leagues will still be resuming their Fall season over the next couple weeks.
