For the second-straight weekend, the Richmond Raceway is set to play host to two exciting nights of action.

The Renegades of Dirt of Modified Tour will highlight the action on both Friday and Saturday night at the track known as the Beast of the East.

On Friday, the UMP Modifieds will race in the $2,000-to-win ($200-to-enter) main event, while the Sonic Super Late Models ($1,500-to-win) will also be in action, along with the Cohen Recycling 4 Cylinders ($500-to-win).

On Saturday, the Renegades of Dirt return to the track for the $3,000-to win ($250-to-start) feature. The Sonic Super Late Models ($1,500-to-win) and the ARBodies KDRA Super Stocks ($750-to-win) will also be in action.

The pit gate is set to open at 2 p.m. on Friday. Pit passes will be $35 for adults and $15 for children 6 through 12.

The grandstand will open at 5 p.m. Friday. General admission is $15 for adults and children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Hot laps will began at 6:30 p.m.

The Richmond Raceway saw two nights of racing last weekend, as well.

The Beast of the East played host to the fifth-annual Butch Shay Memorial last Saturday and the Prelude to the Butch Shay Memorial last Friday.

A pair of drivers took home checkered flags on each nights.

Victor Lee took the title in both Eagle Financial UMP Modifieds races and Zach Dohm was the winner in both the Ulimate Super Late Model events.

In Friday's Modified event, Dennis Roberson was second and Mikah Reams was third.

In Saturday's Modified event, Zach Powers was second and Austin Francis was third.

In Friday's Late Model feature, Scott James was second and Kyle Strickler was third.

In Saturday's Late Model event, Jared Hawkins was second and Scott James was third.

Eddie Stewart took the title on Saturday in the KDRA Super Stocks feature. He beat out Logan Preston, who was second, and Bryson Patton, who took third.

On Friday night, Jeremie Bretz took the title in the Cohen Recycling 4 Clyinder race. Eddie Stewart was second and Gunner Johnson was third.

Points update

More than mid-way though the season, points championships are still up for grabs in every class at the Richmond Raceway.

In the 4 Cylinder division, Brandon Creech (797 points) leads through 10 races. Tyler Hayes (749) is second and Gunner Johnson (741) is third.

A.J. Hicks (577) is the leader in the Crate Late Model standings after eight races. C.J. Ruble (522) is second and Jeff Watson (515) is third.

In the KDRA Super Stocks, Tyler Collins (676) is the leader after eight races. Logan Preston (613) is second and Chad Barrett (596) is third.

Kirk Phillips (653) has a big lead in the Late Model division after nine races. Jason Barrett (567) is second and Derek Fisher (496) is third.

In the Modified class, Dennis Roberson (858) has a slim lead over Zach Powers (848) after 11 races. Jimmy Crabtree (789) is third.

Garet McCloud (587) has pulled out to a comfortable lead in the Sport Mod division after seven races. Daniel Webb and Greg Bentley (451) are tied for second.
