Second-graders at Daniel Boone Elementary School were unruly and crazy on Thursday, but not without reason. The students were doing a dress rehearsal of their own rendition of "Where the Wild Things Are." The show, which features Taylor as Max, will be put on for the students families and friends on Friday at 12:30.
Daniel Boone had some help getting everything set up, according to second-grade teacher Jill Van Dyke.
"We have volunteers from Kohl's that will be helping us out. They are volunteering on their personal time and are helping our school get a grant through their corporation. Kohl's volunteers are awesome and have helped us in the past," Van Dyke said. "Our fabulous PTA has supplied us with the movable sets. They make the play really come to life."
