Richmond's White Hall State Historic Site has been decked for the holidays, with decorations in every room of the house. Tuesday, it held a Christmas Tea event, and people came from places such as Lexington and Georgetown to enjoy the restored Italianate house, which was built by General Green Clay in the late 1700s. On Dec. 14 and 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., White Hall is hosting a Victorian Christmas, which will include costumed interpreters, baked treats and hot apple cider. Attendees will learn about Christmas customs made popular during the Victorian era. Tickets cost $15 each, and children 5 and younger are free. Reservations are not required, and tickets can be bought at the gift shop.
