Kentucky State Police arrested a woman for endangering the welfare of a minor, fourth-degree assault (no visible injury) and second-degree disorderly conduct after troopers were called to Long Branch Road after it was reported she was knocking on the back door of a residence.
Troopers arrived, and Kelly Isaacs, 37, Long Branch Road, Berea, was lying on the back porch of the residence, according to her arrest citation.
The victim said they had been working third shift, and when they came home from work, Isaacs wasn't there, and an SUV was missing.
Multiple children who were inside the home weren't aware Isaacs had left.
Isaacs later arrived at the residence while she was intoxicated.
She was unsteady and had slurred speech, the citation states.
Isaacs swore at one of the children, slapped the victim's arm and became belligerent.
When she was told she was under arrest, she pulled away from troopers, resisting arrest, according to the citation.
Once at the Madison County Detention Center, Isaacs refused to leave the patrol vehicle and had to be physically removed.
