A tip from a citizen about a drug complaint has lead to the arrest of Christian Rider, 25, and Megan Mounce, 32.
According to authorities with the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to 5009 South Cross Point Court to investigate the complaint on Wednesday afternoon.
Upon their arrival, the officers made contact with Mounce and Rider. Based on the officer's observations, a search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence.
RPD was able to seize a stolen AK rifle and shotgun, four hand guns (one of which was stolen), three ounces of suspected heroin, seven ounces of marijuana and $580 in cash.
Rider was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), trafficking marijuana, and endangering welfare of a minor.
Mounce was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), receiving stolen property (firearm), and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Both remained housed at the Madison County Detention Center Thursday afternoon according to online jail records.
