The Madison County HIDTA Drug Task Force arrested a man early Tuesday morning for controlled substance trafficking after a confidential informant bought drugs from him.
The drug transaction between the informant and Lamont Cullen, 30, Detroit, Michigan, was recorded on video, according to a citation. Police then obtained a search warrant for a home on Patty Lee Drive, and they found 1.5 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, two scales and an undetermined amount of cash.
Cullen said he bought the drugs for about $100.
He was taken to the Madison County Detention Center, where he remained Wednesday afternoon, according to online jail records.
