James Jackson, 49, HWY 1016, Berea, was charged with second-degree escape after being arrested by Berea Police.

According to a warrant on March 1, 2020, while Jackson was in custody he left the facility he was being kept in without anyone’s consent. The warrant states Jackson walked out of the front door of the facility and never returned.

When the headcount was done, Jackson was unaccounted for. Jackson was then declared AWOL.

According to the warrant, Jackson was serving 20 years, due to be released January 19, 2033, for manufacturing of meth, possession of meth, possession of drugs (unspecified), and possession of HG by a convicted felon.

Jackson was arrested by Berea Police on Sunday.

• Kyle Hamm, 33, Foxhaven Dr, Richmond, public intoxication with a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).

• Daryll Hedges, 30, Silver Creek Dr, Berea, fourth-degree assault.
