Around 9:10 a.m. on Dec. 13, Berea police officers were called to a business regarding Allen and spoke with an employee who was working the counter of the business, according to a previous Register article.

The witness told officers Allen went into the business and said, "'The Lord has sent me from Hampton, Ohio, to do a school shooting in Stanton, Kentucky,'" his arrest citation reads. The witness also said Allen told the witness he was on his way to Stanton to "do the duty," the citation continues.

While police were investigating the matter, Berea Community Schools were placed on lockdown because of protocol, the release notes.

According to the news release, Allen was never on Berea school property, and the threats were found to not be credible.
