A grand jury indicted a man on Oct. 9 for three counts of incest (victim younger than 12), three counts of first-degree sodomy (victim younger than 12), first-degree sexual abuse (victim younger than 12) and distribution of obscene matter to minors following a July arrest.

Daniel Howard, 51, North Poplar Street, Richmond, was originally arrested on a Madison County warrant that states he engaged in sexual acts with minors who are believed to have been 6 and 7 years old at the time. The warrant states he subjected the minors to sexual contact multiple times between Dec. 6, 2017, and May 1, 2019.

• Phillip G. Bryant, 67, East Irvine Street, Richmond, two counts first-degree controlled substance trafficking, first-degree controlled substance trafficking, first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and third-degree controlled substance possession.

• Shawn Farmer, 32, North Killarney Lane, Richmond, controlled substance trafficking (fentanyl), first-degree controlled substance trafficking (more than 2 grams of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
