On Monday morning, the staff of Paddy Wagon Irish Pub was busy preparing for the pub’s biggest day of the year, Saint Patrick’s Day.
Although it had already sold about 3,000 festive green, yellow and orange Jell-O shots on Saturday, that number is just a precursor to the actually holiday, said Caroline Suqua, manager.
Workers were busy preparing another 5,000 shots for Tuesday. That means laying out 5,000 ounce-sized plastic cups, mixing gallons of liquid, and having enough room in a refrigerator overnight to let them all chill.
The pub plans to have live music all day, as well as a slew of other activities.
