The Madison County/Richmond branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is hosting a free public forum about COVID-19 vaccinations.
According to Madison County/Richmond NAACP President Mitch Brown, the event’s purpose to allow for discussion and professional medical insight into the COVID-19 vaccines and to dispel myths about the vaccine in our communities.
The forum will take place virtually via zoom on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. The meeting id is 4157762559 and the password is 839625.
Special Guest Dr. Jai Gilliam, of Baptist Health Outpatient Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Clinic at Brannon Crossing, will be answering the community’s questions and will be providing details about the COVID-19 vaccine.
