A Richmond man told police Thursday that three men kicked in the front door of his residence and attempted to rob him at gunpoint.
The man, a resident of the 1600 block of Foxhaven Drive, told police that at about 11:30 p.m., three males, two of whom were armed with handguns, kicked in the front door and forced their way into the residence.
“The suspects demanded money from the victim, at which time the victim ran outside of the residence and yelled for help,” said Larry Brock, Richmond police chief.
A female also began yelling for help from an upstairs window, Brock said.
The men fled the residence and did not steal anything.
The men are described as three white males, all tall with slender builds. All three were wearing white ski masks and brown Carhartt jackets.
No one was injured in the incident, Brock said.
