Madison Southern High School's band will perform its annual Christmas concert on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at the school auditorium.

Several groups will be performing, including the Concert Band and Symphonic Band.

Band director David Ratliff said concert attendees can expect some traditional holiday music selections to help folks get into the Christmas spirit as December begins.

"The band members have been working hard this semester to prepare this concert for the community," he told The Register. "This is the music we have been working on in class each day throughout the semester."

The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome, said Ratliff.

The choir concert is set for Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and kids 5 and under are free. The theme of the choir concert is "Christmas Around the World".
