The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced on Tuesday the scheduled lane closures for Interstate 75 on the Clays Ferry Bridge.
The temporary closures are necessary for continued bridge deck repairs, a release stated.
The northbound left/fast land will be closed at milepoint 97.6 on Wednesday, June 29, from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., according to KYTC officials.
The southbound left/fast and middle lanes will be closed at milepoint 97.6 from 6:30 p.m. until midnight.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to seek alternate routes if possible on Wednesday.
All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
