The Richmond Raceway is set to return to action this weekend — and for the first time this season, fans will be allowed into the venue.
The grandstand is set to open at 4 p.m. today.
There will be racing in four divisions — Reality World Trifecta Pro Late Models ($1,000 to win), Eagle Financial UMP Modifieds (1,000 to win), ARBodies KDRA Super Stocks ($750 to win) and Chapter One Reality Group 4 Cylinders ($500 to win).
Pit gates will open at 2 p.m. with racing set to get under way at 6 p.m.
The track has played host to four events this season, but because of state and federal COVID-19 restrictions has not allowed any fans into the grandstand.
The Richmond Raceway is located at 328 Green's Crossing Road in Richmond.
General admission for today's action is $15 for adults. Children 12-and-under are admitted free of charge.
A pit pass is $35 for adults and $15 for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
The last action at the Richmond Raceway was on June 20 during the Father's Day Frenzy. Jeremie Bretz (4-cylinders), Austin Atkins (Super stocks), Dustin Linville (Late models) and Chris Johnson (modifieds) picked up victories.
