A Black Lives Matter sign at Union Church in Berea has been slashed.

Staff at the church repaired it with tape to the best of their ability.

The church was founded in 1853 by Rev. John G. Fee of Bracken County, who was invited by citizens and Cassius M. Clay, who projected an anti-slavery community at the church.
