We are approaching a busy time of the year for the U.S. Post Office.

We are so fortunate to have a very good post office at Waco. Both Brian and Brenda go the second mile to be helpful. I want send out a big thank you to them and hope they have a great season.

Flatwoods Church will not have a Tuesday night Thanksgiving service this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Each year, this service has been open to churches from Estill and Madison counties to come together for worship and a special offering that goes to Haiti Christian Mission.

This mission has been in existence since the mid 1980s when Choubert Remy came from Haiti for his education. He and his wife, Bernadette, are working in two Haitian areas at present.

Their work includes a church and school near Port-au-Prince. They also have started a church and medical clinic in the mountains of central Haiti.

We are taking offerings by mail this year. If anyone wants to donate, send check addressed to Haiti Christian Mission, P.O. Box 127, Waco, KY 40385.
