Connie Hensley Golden will play First Presbyterian Church’s tracker Casavant Pipe Organ as part of Sunday’s “Moveable Organ Fete.”

If you enjoy great music, make plans to join Connie Hensley Golden on the organ and Jerome Amend on trumpet for an afternoon of music Sunday, Oct. 12, at two of downtown Richmond’s most beautiful churches.

The first 30 minute performance will begin at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 330 W. Main St. This concert will feature the church’s tracker Casavant Pipe Organ.

The audience and performers will then move to the loggia of First Christian Church at 412 W. Main St. for refreshments. After the brief reception, the concert will conclude in First Christian’s sanctuary where Golden will play the church’s electro-pneumatic Reuter Pipe Organ.

The concert is presented in celebration of the “Pipe Organs of Main Street.”
