Liberty Place representatives speak to Lions Club

At a recent meeting of the Richmond Lions Club, Program Director Alisha Whilhoit, and Peer Mentor Marie Giesler spoke to the club. The Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women, a part of Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, has up to 108 women in the local recovery center. The center is designed to provide support, help with drug and alcohol addition, build up self worth, educate, and support the community in projects. The center is one of 18 Recovery Centers in Kentucky. Individuals will stay at the center for 6 to 8 months. Pictured is Lions Club Vice President Linda Wooton, Marie Giesler and Alisha Wilhoit.
