The GOP Ladies Republican Club hosted their annual potluck and auction on July 12 at the Madison County Fairgrounds.
Food was prepared and provided by the club. Items were auctioned by Auctioneer Lonnie Napier, Retired State Legislator. Members said it was great seeing Lonnie again.

Elected county officials donated the fried chicken: Magistrates Roger Barger and Tom Botkin; County Judge/Executive Reagan Taylor; County Clerk Kenny Barger; County Surveyor Stuart Spencer; County Jailer Steve Tussey; County Attorney, Jennie Haymond.
Speaker representing Governor Matt Bevin and Dr. Ralph Alvarado (who were attending a funeral) was Chris Cline.
The common theme throughout the evening was getting out the vote on Nov. 5, 2019 and keeping Gov. Bevin.
Those present and running for office of Secretary State, Michael G. Adams, a representative for candidate for Attorney General, Daniel Cameron, State Treasurer, Allison Ball, State Auditor, Mike Harmon, Commissioner of Agriculture, Ryan Quarles.
Josh Barrett, Past President of the Madison County Republican Club, updated the group on the year's activities. The Madison County Republican registered voters are growing at a record pace.
The next meeting of the GOP Ladies Republican Club will be Aug. 23, 12:30 p.m. The luncheon will be at the Central Bank Community Room. Speakers to be announced.
