Hello from Baldwin.

How is everyone's week going? I hope you are doing well.

Not too much is going on here in Baldwin as far as I know. It has been pretty cold here, but it is winter, so what else are we to expect?

I received this message from the Madison County Farmers Market and was asked to pass it along.

The Madison County Farmers Market will be open this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the basement of the Big Hill Christian Church on Goggins Lane. Come check out what your local farmers have to sell. You might just find a great gift for someone on your Christmas list.

Along with some fall vegetables, you'll also find many jams, jellies, local honey, other great canned products, eggs, cheese, baked goods and many handcrafted items to numerous to list.

Come check us out. We are Kentucky Proud!

Since there were not any craft shows this year, don't forget that some of the Madison County Indoor Farmers Market vendors have homemade, handmade crafts, socks, hats, scarfs from alpacas, fleece blankets, dish towels, dish clothes and other things that will make the perfect Christmas gift.

Stop by this Saturday and support these local people.

Oh my goodness people!

COVID-19 is still raging through our town, our state and our country. We have got to do our part to put a stop to this deadly virus.

Pray for those who are sick with COVID-19, pray for healing, pray that others don't get it. virus.

Do you have your Christmas tree up yet?

Got your shopping finished?

Presents wrapped and under the tree?

I bet you are thinking that is the most important thing right now to get done.

Well it isn't, because if we don't have Christ in Christmas, we don't know the meaning of Christmas at all.

Christmas is all about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ being born on that day, and celebrating his birthday. Jesus was sent to save us all from our sins, if we only believe and accept him as our Savior and be baptized.

Well, I guess that's all for now.
