Hello from Baldwin.

How is everyone's week going? I hope everyone is having a good one.

We certainly have had a lot of rain this week. I hope all are safe from the flooding and that no one had a lot of flood damage.

A bit cooler for a few days, so I am assuming that is blackberry winter. Yes, I said blackberry winter. At least it wasn't as cold as the locust winter.

We still continue to deal with COVID 19. It is a scary time, and such an uncertain time for us.

Do you get out? Do you stay home? Do I wear a mask when I go out?

I wonder if all the other people will have their masks on. I wonder how long this coronavirus will last? How many more people are going to die?

So many questions and so few answers about this unknown virus. We need to work together and try to keep from spreading this virus,

We need to work together to help to save lives. I pray that we will all pray for one another and help one another to get through this together.

Don't forget that the Madison County Farmers Market is now open in a new location. That's right, the market is now in the parking lot of White Oak Pond Christian Church on the corner of Barnes Mill Road and Goggins Lane.

This will be our third Saturday to be open in the new location. Things went a lot smoother last Saturday than the first.

But it's going to get better each week. We have to keep our vendors and shoppers both safe. We have a lot of guidelines to follow to be able to have the Farmers Market open.

Bare with us, we are all trying to work together to make it as safe an environment as possible. We hope you will come out and support our local farmers. Don't forget to stop by.

Isbell-Smith Farm Fresh Produce will be there with sourdough bread and rolls, zucchini bread, chocolate zucchini bread, banana bread, jams and jellies and fried apple pies. You can pre-order from Isbell-Smith Farm Fresh Produce and pick it up at the market.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Nicolas Middleton, Wayne Perkins and Bill Winter (Sunday); Cody Muncy (Monday); Sydney Elizabeth Keeton (Tuesday); Cova Kelley and Jackson Tucker Sandusky, (Thursday).

I hope you all have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Fran and Amanda Spaulding (Monday); Bryan and Denise Bogie (Tuesday); and Billy and Amber Green, (Saturday).

I hope you all have very happy anniversaries and many more happy ones to come.

This weekend is Memorial Day weekend. Please honor and respect those that have gone on before us.

Well, I guess that's all for now, let me know if you hear any news, just give me a call at 859-623-4579 or 859-200-5824 or e-mail me at pljones61.pj@gmail.com.

May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wrap His loving arms around all of us and keep us safe from this virus. And please use some common sense and protect yourself and others.
