Hello from Baldwin, how is everyone's week going? I hope everyone is having a good one.

Praise the Lord for the blessed rain we received this week.

Last week, I posted a happy anniversary wish to my brother and sister-in-law, Wes and Debbie Jones, well people I completely lost my mind, their anniversary was Aug. 10. Oh well, let's see if I can get things right this week.

Happy anniversary wishes go out today to Wesley and Whitney Curtis. I hope you have a wonderful anniversary and many more happy ones to come.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Justin Beck, Sunday; Beverly Applegate, Monday; Billy Kelley, Tuesday; Brandon Howard, Wednesday; Aubrey O'connor, Thursday; Jessica Morris and John Portwood, Friday; and Grayson Benton, Saturday. I hope you all have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Ronald and Amy Burrus, Sunday. I hope you have a happy anniversary and many more happy ones to come.

The Madison County Farmers Market will not be at Irvine McDowell Park. It is the end of the season. The market vendors would like to thank everyone for their support of the market this year. The Madison County Farmers Market will be at Lowe's parking lot 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Saturday. It will be the last day. Be sure and stop by.

My nephew Kendall Jones and his wife Tiffany hosted two hayrides this past weekend. On Saturday night, they hosted a hayride for the Baldwin 4-H Club. They had two wagons on the hayride this year. Everyone enjoyed the scenic ride, then returned to the house and enjoyed a wonderful meal, dressing up in their costumes and trick or treating. And movie night outside to end the night. There were 45 people that attended.

On Sunday night, the hayride was for family and friends. The much needed rain was great, and held off just long enough for the hayride. We ate, and trick or treated with the kids again. There were 38 people that attended on Sunday night.

We want to thank Kendall and Tiffany for hosting these two events and opening up their home for everyone.

Well I guess that's all for now, let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 859-200-5824 or e-mail at pljones61.pj@gmail.com.
