Hello everyone. The other day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed the trees -- actually bushes -- starting to get green. Then I looked around and noticed the cattle grazing on the hill tops. The thought that the trees and even the cattle knew that spring was here was a great feeling. It was just as if they were enjoying the day and were saying you see, spring is here. So when, I got home ready to do some work outside.
April 20 is closing in soon for the Annual Spring Gathering at The Kirksville Community Center. It will be another time of spectacular booths filled with art, crafts and vendors. The Gym will be packed. Make your reservation for your booth now.
The Madison County 4-H means Business will be there, as well as the Madison County Humane Society. That might be a great time to think about that much needed barn cat. Mine is called mouser and she is great. The Easter Bunny will be there from 11-11:30. Bring your non-perishable item for the Kirksville Christian Church to deliver to the Berea Food Bank. The address is 664 Kirksville Rd on Hwy 595.
May 5 will be the Jordan Family Band at the Full Gospel Tabernacle for the morning service at 11 a.m. It will be a great singing. Make your plans.
