St. Thomas Lutheran VBS July 12-16
St. Thomas Lutheran Church, located at 1285 Barnes Mill Road, Richmond, will conduct its annual vacation Bible school from July 12-16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is Discovery Canyon. The five-day adventure is filled with gully games, cavern crafts, shadow science, sagebrush storytelling and Red Rock Rhythm for ages Pre-K through sixth grade.

CrossPoint Baptist Church welcomes interim pastor
CrossPoint Baptist Church welcomes Dr. Brian K. Payne, assistant professor of Christian Theology and Expository Preaching at Boyce College, as its interim pastor. The public is invited to his first service on July 5. CrossPoint will meet at Glenn Marshall Elementary School at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Payne will preach during the 10:45 a.m. worship service.
Following the morning worship service, there will be a time of fellowship and fun at Irvine McDowell Park on Lancaster Avenue. There will be food, games, and an inflatable slide.
