Madison County residents will be joining people across the nation Thursday when they gather at noon in front of the courthouse, 101 W. Main St., Richmond, to observe the 62nd National Day of Prayer.
This year’s theme is “Pray for America,” emphasizing the need for individuals to place their faith in the unfailing character of their creator, said Carolyn Hayes, one of the organizers.
“Please join us on Thursday from noon to 12:45 p.m. on the lawn of the Madison County Courthouse,” she said.
Pastor Kenny Davis Jr. of Bethel Baptist Church in Berea will leading event.
