Emma White Rose, 88, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, in her Richmond, Kentucky home.
Born on January 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Louella Richardson White.
Emma was a member of the Narrow Way Church of God. She retired from Pattie A. Clay Hospital.
Emma is preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene B. Pruitt and Stanley Gill.
She is survived by: two sons, Harold Pruitt of Richmond and Marvin Gill (Kaye) of Garrard County; three daughters, Joyce VanWinkle (Jack) of Richmond, Shirley Childress (Robert) of Richmond and Janie Lamb (Louis) of Lilburn, Ga.; one sister, Hazel Richardson of Rockcastle County; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Pruitt of Rockcastle County; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Emma is also preceded in death by: one son, Wayne Pruitt; two grandsons, Roger Dale Childress and Jonathan Pruitt; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Pruitt; six brothers, Hubert, Lloyd, Wilbert, Eldon, Garrett and Carl White; and one sister, Ruby White.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. John Gross officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrill Cemetery of Jackson County. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Walter Leo Liebengood, 57, was born December 17, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, and passed on September 26, 2013, as a result of a house fire at his log home in Richmond, Kentucky.
Walt embraced the country lifestyle donning blue jeans and a ball cap on nearly every occasion from yard work to graduations and arrived by pickup truck with his dog Buddy by his side. He believed anything could be fixed with duct tape but was a skilled carpenter and log home builder. He was kind to those in need and loved animals. Walt worked at Meijer from high school until his death and functioned as the store union steward for a time in Flint.
