BEREA — Dwight E. Hays, age 55, husband of Pamela Turner Hays, died Sunday Nov. 25, 2012, in the St. Joseph Berea hospital.

Dwight was owner and operator of Madison Mechanical Contractors. He was a master HVAC technician, a member of the Church on The Rock and a band member at Church on The Rock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dowe Hays, and stepfather, Devane Moran.

Dwight is survived by: his wife, Pamela Turner Hays of Berea; his daughter, April Wind Hays of Ashville N.C.; son, Jordan Lane Hays; and daughters, India Alese and Olivia Brenn Hays. Also surviviing are: his brother, R.D. (Jane) Hays Jr., his sister, Diana Hays; his mother, Roberta Lea Moran, all of Berea; his stepbrother, David Gunterman; and stepmother, Mary Hays, both of Norwood, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Church on The Rock in Berea with Rev. Mark Sarver officiating.Burial will be in the Hays Cemetery at Gray Hawk.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Gentry, Randy Alcorn, Vince McGuire, Joe Stanley, Jerry Castle, and Brian Sparks. Honorary pallbearers will be John Dooley, Chester Azbill, Jimmy Smith, Steve Dooley, Ernest Hillard, Al McLaughlin, and Tommy Simpson.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6 to 9 p.m. at Church on The Rock in Berea.
