BEREA — Jeffery Lee Croucher, 44, son of Bonnie Helen Webb Croucher and the late Earl Ray Croucher, died Monday Nov. 19, 2012 in the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Jeff was a painter by trade having worked for Dees Construction, Berea Hospital and others; he graduated from Madison Central High School and had attended church at Owsley Fork Baptist Church and Pilot Knob Baptist Church where he was baptized.

Jeff is survived by his mother Bonnie Helen Webb Croucher, and his children Brittany Barnes, Rebecca Brooke Croucher and Daniel Lee Croucher. Jeff is also survived by his brother Benjamin Ray (Deanna Lokia) Croucher and his son Joseph Benjamin Croucher, and his paternal grandmother Florence Lee Croucher, many aunts, uncles and cousins and a grandchild. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Earl Ray Croucher, his sister Alice Michelle Croucher, his son who died at birth Jeffery Austin Croucher, his paternal grandfather William Franklin Croucher, and his maternal grandparents Barney and Maude Alexander Webb.

Funeral services for Jeff will be conducted Friday Nov. 23, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Lakes officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Clontz, William Barney Young, Tyler Rigsby, Joseph Croucher, Tim Shouse, Howard Thacker, Mark Thacker, and James Slater. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Abney and John Bailey. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus at the Compassionate Care Center 150 Isaacs Lane Richmond, KY 40475.
