RICHMOND — James Alan Landrum, 68, husband of Anne Alexander Landrum, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.

Mr. Landrum was born July 22, 1945, in Madison County to the late Ollie James and Blanche Haddix Landrum.

He graduated from Clark County High School and went on to work and retired from Delco Products in Dayton, Ohio. A 32nd Degree Free Mason and a Shriner, Mr. Landrum was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

He enjoyed talking with others and attending his class reunions later in life and was a proud United States Army veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two stepdaughters, Erika Anne Mookerjie and husband Prasanna of Atlanta, Georgia and Andria Lea Kaskey and husband Michael of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his brother, Stuart Landrum and wife Laurie; two sisters, Mona Proctor and Judy Vining and husband Jim; four grandchildren, Nikhil, Kiran, Katy and Bayla; and his best friend, Bev Allen.

A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bev Allen officiating.

The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475.
