RICHMOND —

Mrs. Millie R. Turner, 99, formerly of Richmond, passed away Thursday morning, September 26, 2013, at Hospitality Home East in Xenia, Ohio.

She was born June 1, 1914, in Madison County, Kentucky, to Sam Ross and Betty Turner, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church.

Mrs. Turner was also preceded in death by: her husband, Jerry E. Turner; one daughter, Peggy Cunningham; four brothers, four sisters and one grandson, Edward G. Berryman, Sr.

Mrs. Turner is survived by: four great-grandchildren, Genna Caldwell (Kevin), Dion Berryman (Donissa) of Xenia Ohio, Edward G. Berryman Jr. of Indianapolis Ind., and Dajuan (Rebecca) Sanford, of Trotwood, Ohio; a special niece, Una Florence Miller of Richmond Ky., niece Mattie Jo Warford of Richmond, Ky.; and one nephew, Bert Robinson of Tacoma, Wash.; as well as nine great-great grandchildren, six great-great-great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church with services beginning at noon. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.
