Robert Earl Parks, 57

BEREA — Robert Earl Parks, 57, husband of Vickie Parks, of Berea, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea, Kentucky.

Born May 20, 1956, in Chattanooga, Tenn., he was a mailroom slicer at Xerox Company for many years. Robert was a proud veteran serving honorably in the United States Marines.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie E. (Johnson) Parks; two sons, Robbie Parks and Flemon Lakes; five daughters, Amanda Parks Bell, Stephanie Parks, Lisa Johnson, Tammy Fowler and Nancy Johnson; also survived by numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Earl Parks will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond, Kentucky. Rev. Harry Revel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
