Irvine — Billy Ray Ingram, 76, of Irvine, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, in the VA Medical Center of Lexington.

He was born in Estill County, Ky., on February 21, 1937, to the late Beverly“Shorty” and Daisy Smith Ingram.

Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired employee of Cornelison Farm Service. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Irvine.

Billy is survived by: his two sons, Bill Ingram (LaDonna) and Bev Ingram (Regina); his daughter, Paula Johnson; four grandchildren, Crystal Cheeks (Curtis), Angela Sproles, Jay Johnson and Larkyn Ingram; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving companion, Parriett Mitchell, and her family who called him Dad and Papaw, Angie and Charles Richardson and their daughter Karassa, and Kelsey Robertson, all of Irvine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kye Donald Ingram.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Owen Moody and Bro Ricky Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: David Whittamore, Johnny Whittamore, Chuck Smith, Cecil Bingham, Jay Johnson and Charles Richardson.
