RICHMOND — Wayne D. Webb, 74, of Richmond, husband of 53 years to Nancy Kelly Webb, passed away early Friday morning, July 12, 2013.

Mr. Webb was born February 9, 1939, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Orville and Julia Cain Webb.

He was a member of Madison Hills Christian Church, a farmer and former meat cutter at Kroger.

He adored his grandchildren, and he loved watching their ballgames and enjoyed taking them on vacations. He also liked being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two daughters, Mary Beth Lamb (Houston) and Lisa Culton (Jeff), both of Richmond; one brother, Harold Dean Webb (Mildred); one sister, Sue Whaley; and four grandchildren, Travis Lamb, Katie Lamb, Brandy Bennett (Robert) and Daylan Culton.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Madison Hills Christian Church, with Pastor Marty Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday evening at Madison Hills Christian Church.

Pallbearers will be Travis Lamb, Daylan Culton, Zac Crain, Robert Bennett, James Lucas, and Eugene Turpin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandy Bennett, Katie Lamb, Bobby Renfro, Ray Kelly, and Gene Kelly.

The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
